Wayne Koen has been involved in the implementation and managment of QMS for over 20 years and have implemented systems for a number of companies over the past twenty years. Here are just to name a few:
- Mondipak (Epping & Kuilsriver) - ISO 9001:2000 - First packaging company to be certified in the Mondi group where I had to assist other branches within the group to become compliant
- Unsgaard Packaging - ISO 9001:2000 - Implemented and training done for staff also implemented Elizabeth Anne and Lillets SOP for the organization
- International Tube Technology - ISO 9001:2000 & 2015 / OHSACT Compliance / Food Safety to customer requirements / Risk Assessments / Staff Training - Implemented all QMS and trained the QMR at all three sites (Cape Town, Johannesburg, Durban)
- Ultra-Flow Engineering Services - ISO 9001:2000 & 2015 - also assisted the organization to meet the requirements of a product they were developing for international trade
- Aerosol & Cosmetic Works - SANS 1841 (Metrology & Calibration) - also assisted the organization with production and other requirements as required by the CEO
- CME Precision - ISO 9001:2000 & 2015 - also managed the system for just over 2 years while the organization was training up the QMR
- Peninsula Packaging - ISO 9001:2000 & 2015 / ISO 22000 - Training of staff in quality awareness programs and food safety requirements
- Plastform - ISO FSSC 22000 - Managed the quality department for just over a year and worked in production
- Kohler Box - ISO 9001:2000 & 2015 - Managed the quality department for just over 3 years and successfully implemented customer requirements related to food management systems
- Good Old Printing - GSK Global Standard - implemented and maintained the system to pharmaceutical standards
- Proficient Packaging & Print - Implemented ISO 9001:2015

I have also completed various training in quality and production starting with my days at Nampak where I was sent on a short course at UCT to study quality and production management but my training took me to study at UNISA where I completed the TQM Diploma program and then also studied at the Institute of Plastics where we did production management and quality in Plastics. I studied at SABS where I completed a certificate in ISO.
I completed a diploma in packaging technology with the Institute of Packaging SA and achieved an Advanced Diploma In Packaging Technology.
